Josh has a first class honours degree in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol.

Manooj Mistry joined Deutsche Bank in May 2006 and is head of equity ETF structuring at db x-trackers, Deutsche Bank's Exchange Traded Funds. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Manooj was with Merrill Lynch International in London where he was responsible for the development of the LDRS ETFs, the first ETFs to be launched in Europe and also worked on fund vehicles for the issuance of structured products. Manooj graduated in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University.

Christine Ross has been head of financial planning at SG Hambros since April 2001. Her responsibilities include expanding and developing the bespoke financial planning operation ensuring the provision of an integrated wealth management service.

Christine joined SG Hambros from UBS where she was a director of the onshore financial planning and wealth management division. She spent the previous 11 years with Willis National, latterly as regional director of financial planning in London. She is a qualified Certified Financial Planner and an associate of the Institute of Financial Planning.

Obi is a Head of Department in the Tax and Technical Services Department based in the St. James’s Place Head Office and is primarily responsible for advising High Net Worth Clients on Tax and Estate Planning matters.

Obi was formally a senior tax manager of professional services firms Andersons and subsequently Ernst & Young before joining St. James’s Place Wealth Management in 2002.

John is Director of Financial Planning Solutions within Barclays Wealth Advisory, whom he joined in 2007.

Before joining Barclays he was a specialist Management Consultant, working on pension strategy with IFAs & Life Offices.

Previously, he was a director at stockbroker, Bestinvest, where he led the financial planning team. He has held executive roles within Life Offices, including that of Marketing Manager of Winterthur Life, where he launched the first SIPP in the UK market in 1989. He was spokesperson at both and has extensive TV, radio and print media communications experience.

He is creative, yet down to earth, sales and marketing specialist. He is highly motivated with a passion to move the industry forward to recognised professionalism, for which he chairs several professional development groups.

He is a Chartered Financial Planner and an Associate of several professional institutions.

John has worked for Barclays for 37 years and during that time has filled a range of managerial roles. He is presently a Vice President of the Brokerage arm of Barclays Wealth.

His real area of expertise is in the area of personal investment for the self directed investor in which he has a reputation for being an entertaining speaker with the ability to simplify even the most difficult of subjects. He has been a presenter for Barclays in this area for many years and is a regular contributor to Smart investor and the stockbroker website (Cotters Corner).

Married with five children he has now returned to live near Southport in Merseyside and he is a keen follower of most sports.
